How to enable/disable the Web content control

 

Follow these instructions to enable/disable the Web content control (allowing the computer supervisor to restrict access to certain Web pages):

  1. Click Status in the main screen in the program.

  2. In the Protection section, click Settings.

  3. Click Web content control in the left-hand section.

  4. If you want to enable this option, make sure the Enable Web content control box is selected. To disable it, clear the check box.

Once the Web content control is enabled, users that want to use the Internet must first identify themselves in the filter, entering their user name and password. This data will be requested when the Internet browser opens.

 

Important note: It is only possible to enable and configure the Web content control if you have previously installed it. In the main window you can check whether the Web content control is installed. If not, you can install it whenever you want from the Protection section in the main window of .
